Larry Salice runs an NTV360 indoor billboard network on Long Island, and chose the niche because local businesses always need marketing — he calls it close to recession-proof. He grew it by following the scripts and pitches that already worked instead of reinventing them, and by adding quality long-term clients rather than chasing location count (Larry Salice, interview published April 2025). The network he runs on is NTV360 (formerly N-Compass TV), which ranked No. 2,896 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 with 108% three-year growth (Inc. 5000, 2026).
Why did Larry choose an NTV360 franchise?

I'm Larry Salice. I run an indoor billboard network of Long Island.
I love the idea of marketing — it's something people always need for their business, to bring in more clients and do better. It's sort of recession-proof, so I really like the industry and the niche a lot.
How I really got good is I listened to what someone had done before me. I didn't reinvent the wheel. There were people who were really, really good — I followed scripts, pitches, rebuttals, and just stuck with it, staying positive and taking what you learn. But the key is you need to know the material. You've got to know your product and be able to sell it well.
I love to be able to see the company in general grow and get more locations. When you first begin, it's like an infant child — you get to see it grow, and it's yours. I remember when I first put a screen in a large supermarket. They walked us in overnight, and I'm thinking, I can't believe I'm running around the IGA right now hanging up screens. We've grown to this many screens since. The excitement comes with being successful with it, and once you start making the sales, you're rewarded on the monetary side as well, which is always great. There's a lot this opportunity has to offer.
I'm at a very good spot now — we have a lot of locations and screens up, and excellent clients we've been able to retain for the long term. Adding good-quality clients is the main thing to keep targeting. I like quality growth; I don't just put locations up. We're looking to add another 25 locations and sell all the advertising on those locations. That's our goal, and then to continue to grow in that fashion.
The harder you work, all of a sudden things happen. I'll drive by a place and say, I have to stop in and see this client — and then I will, and I'll have a great conversation, and then I'll get another call from another place, because I'm putting in the effort.
You own your own company, so it gives you the opportunity to take care of the things that are important to you and that you value. Maybe that's your family, or whatever a person's passion is — maybe they want a nice boat, or a vacation. Whatever that passion is, it gives you the ability to take advantage of that.
